Processing applies to the same order total as the transaction fee. Other countries have their own schedules — check the official policy for your account country. Some jurisdictions additionally charge a small regulatory operating fee on the order total; it is country-specific and excluded from our default calculations.
Notes on using this data
Two properties of this table matter more than any single number. First, fixed components dominate small orders: the $0.20 listing fee and the fixed part of processing mean that a $5 order carries a much higher effective fee rate than a $50 order at identical percentage rates. Second, the fee base includes shipping, so restructuring prices between item and shipping lines changes nothing about fees — only about conversion.
